So, I downloaded 2 games onto my PC and found that they were already put into WBFS format. My problem here is that I can't put them onto my WBFS Thumb Drive through WBFS Manager, since it's already WBFS. Any ideas of what I can do?

WBFS, you simply locate the file, then it downloads it, also cutting down the iso's size, making room for more stuff.

Use FAT32 and if drag and drop confuses you, use Wii Backup Manager - it's miles better than WBFS Manager, automatically converts files and scrubs accordingly - it can even unrar/unzip them if you're lazy. WBFS is deprecated and crap. ;)

So why is WBFS so bad? I never got that question answered back in my other thread. All I hear is it's bad but nothing claiming why?
Mainly what's the advantage of using fat32 with wbfs compared to just using wbfs format?

WBFS is prone to fragmentation, corruption and failure, it does not support multimedia, homebrew or Gamecube games, it's not native to any OS and it's considered dead aside from a few cells of avid users. It was a necessary evil until FAT32 support was achieved. With FAT32 you'll be able to do the same stuff and more, not to mention that the drive will be more reliable.

So in light of all this.. I'm going to derail a bit here but is it possible the fact it's using WBFS format is causing loading/framerate issues? I've only ever used WBFS in that format even though I just recently heard about WBFS in fat32. Just curious because I'm still looking for answer about those issues and so far it's unexplained.

Load speeds and streaming might be severely impacted by WBFS fragmentation, but I don't think it influences framerate. Either way, you should switch to FAT32 - you should be using it anyways. ;)

It's very possible, considering everything Foxi mentioned. Switch to FAT32 and see if it improves.

Just use Wii Backup Manager - it will scrub unnecessary partitions and convert everything for you - no hassle. I use FAT32 and .WBFS files without fail that way - have been for years.

So I can just make the entire partition fat32 without doing anything? The biggest issue is that I already have a fat32 set at 128gb [Gamecube section/Roms etc.] And the WBFS partition is the rest.

The only way I saw doing this was just transferring wbfs files into my computer harddrive and then format the wbfs and delete it and extend my fat32 for the rest of the drive.

Edit: Sorry if I don't understand properly. I just wanna make sure I don't get rid of all the games lol.

Edit #2: I guess I did it? It proclaims it's fat32 and opens like one. Hooray?.. Is there anything else I should do to it then?
