Hi there I was wondering if anyone could help me?

I recently got the R4i 3DS RTS and got the games I wanted onto it but the only thing is that I can't load up the save datas that I have for a lot of my older games (like Pokemon) even though everything seems to look alright. Is there some sort of known problem which is preventing this.

Any help is appreciated.

if you played on an emulator, the save should be converted using a tool for that

try this: http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php i think you can just export the save from the emulator, but someone know this better than me

and make sure the rom from the emulator and the one you put on the cart are from the same region

ps: also make sure the save is the exact same name as the rom, except the extension
for example:
game.nds < this is the game\rom
game.sav <this is the save

Ah sorry Mingles, it's from an old Acekard that I had but can't use anymore so I thought the saves should be in the sort of file type as the R4i. I have made sure about the files having the same name though as well as the right extensions. This one just seems to refuse to load.

Yes, there is no right or wrong format. By changing the setting, you can tell the card to look for either format of save file.

I actually fixed it Was a bit of a pain but got it eventually. I changed not only the file extension but also the megabytes of the save too (for some reason it was at 8 instead of the normal).
