Hi guys! Finally I played Ikaruga flawlessly... AWSOME!!! ^_^
I have only 2 little questions:

1- If I run Nintendont from the HomeBrew Channel, I set mem emulation and it's all ok. But if I run the game from the CFG USB Loader, it load the game, but it don't emulate the memory card. This happens because every time i use the CFG with a gamecube game, it restore the settings to the default values. Can you explain me how can I fix it?
2- I have noted that all 4 leds on my wiimote are constantly on while i'm playing a gamecube game... is that normal? ^_^

Thx a lot for all guys!
on the wiimote its normal he is waiting to see if you plug a CC to it or not if you dont want it to waist batery just hold wiimote power buttom while any GC game is running and the wiimote will shutdown only itself

Question about MCEMU. To get a multicard going, I need to select that option in Nintendont itself and create a save for each game? Or is there a way to set multi from Wiiflow? A Nintendont mcemu setting would sure come in handy. 300+ games is alot to set and make saves for.

Then what happens when I fill my emulated memcard up? (I have managed to fill up an actual 1051 via DM/Devo)

I didn't know Ikaruga had problems, then again I didn't yet get the chance to fully play it (shame cause it's a great shooter and I enjoyed it a lot on Dreamcast) but at least now I know it works fine so I can play it!

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if there is a way to force nintendont in 4:3, to have the image in 4:3 on the gamepad :yayu:
I know it might reduce the global image quality (because of the 2 side black bar adding), but with the gamepad screen size I don't really mind :P

THANKS SO MUCH FOR BOTH OF YOU!!!
It was just a simple matter of turning on the settings. hahha, THANK YOU, im so happy :) i can finally play GC games on my useless Black wii.

Why would you use nintendont on wii to play GC games? just play burnt copies (I never softmodded for GC plays, since I have a wiikey2, is it not possible?)

Some people don't like to get off their ass when switching games, and hassle with hundreds of burnt DVDs. Nintendont also works on Wii U, so yeah...:glare:

Also not every Wii is compatible with buring games not to mention its much easier to use Nintednont than to hard mod your Wii.

Oh ok, I was under the impression that GC backups could be played natively on the wii thanks to softmods, much like how wii backups could be read

Your Wii has to have a compatible disc drive to run regular DVD's, with a soft mod you also need to install a a custom IOS to play those burnt games.

Any comment about accessories such as various dance pads and racing wheels?
I can confirm that dance pads work, at least the one that i am using. It is a generic gamestop multi console dance pad. I tried it out with DDR Mario mix and it works fine.

I thought I read that a dance pad was tried but didn't work. Maybe only certain ones. Everyone with dance pads and racing wheels... It's your time to shine!

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
