Graphics aren't important to me for Nintendo games, after all I still love playing my retro games and no complaints on graphics. The only time graphics are important to me is for games like cod or similar

Is it possible that someone with an up to date Wii U can still use the Wiikey U or they'd need to be on a outdated firmware?

Nintendo and their stinking region lock makes it somewhat hard to get the entire library of the Wii U (and it's not even big).

Who knows, we don't know if it even exists/will ever come out in the first place, much less what versions (I assume all) it will work on. Also, it is literally impossible for an ODE to be region-free on the Wii U. There is no way for region free to happen other then developing an IOSU softmod exploit. You're better off saving your money.

Nintendo is so fucking stupid, they could avoid people hacking the console (when the time comes) if they had allowed to play games of any region plus GameCube games from the get-go.

The way I see, the hacked Wii U's have more features than the ones who decided to stay the official firmware but to hell with it, I can wait.

Hopefully Nintendo's not stupid enough to make the same mistake again during the 9th gen (oh wait, they're naming the new 3DS as New 3DS).

im fine with delays, but i dont have a wiiu yet and waiting for an ODE before i buy, so i wish they would release a statement that finally clears up confusion on weather or not we need the browser expolit to dump our drive keys ,before it gets harder to find a lower FW wiiu ,though i would think this will not happen anytime soon,there must be plenty still in stock

The solution is simple, get a Wii U now, before the required firmware gets too high (If that is even an issue).

I somehow doubt Iwata is the one personally in charge of all of these decisions. Really, I don't think getting rid of Iwata will make nearly as much of a difference as some people are saying it will.

I bought a Wii U because of the original Team Wiikey announcement, and now I'm satisfied with staying legit. I've long finished going to the Wiikey homepage, googling "djbubba" scouring for info, etc. I have my 4.5 3DS XL and a decent PC with an Oculus Rift DK2, so I'm not really concerned any more with Team Wiikey and their vaporware cocktease bullshit imagined concept of an ODE.

Guys, why are we even arguing over this, seriously!? Can we just get back on topic before a mod/admin locks this thread! Some people prefer consoles over pc gaming and vice versa who cares. They both have their pros and cons. Like the old saying goes "to each their own." Does it really matter which gaming platform someone prefers?
