Gaming Wii U reached its full graphical capability in 2013.

I play Streets of Rage -> shitty graphics -> shit
I play Kingdom Hearts on whatever console -> repetitive gameplay -> shit
I play Pangya/Super Swing Golf on Wii -> shitty graphics, shitty voice acting and your average stereotype characters -> shit
I play Bayonetta on PS3 -> the protagonist is a slut and the story is shit, the port is shitmade - shit
I play No More Heroes on Wii -> nothing in this games makes sense and it looks like shit -> shit
I play Resident Evil 1 on Gamecube -> shitty controls, story shit -> shit
I play Fire Emblem on 3DS -> the characters havent even feet -> shit
I play Blue Dragon on Xbox 360 -> akira toriyama character design -> shit

..to name only a few examples. Damn, I like shit. :mellow:

Does the Wii U reached the graphical limit? Let's just wait it out.

I disapprove of your comment forever! Akira Toriyama is the reason I grew up watching Dragon Ball as a kid. Kinda want to get into Dragon Quest as well for it being in the same style. But, I digress. (Also love Tatsunoko Pro designs... I'm a fan of oldie animes.)

One might say that the style is one of the most overused things ever. One might say its more like a model kit these days - little gokus, gohans and trunks everywhere.
One might say so many things - but as long the game (or the anime :wink:) is good and the artstyle isn't killing me that's fine.

For one it might be a shit taste list I've written, for me it's a list of fine games I enjoy. I see the flaws of every game I listed, but that did not stop me from having fun with them. And you all should do the same. : )

Bare in mind these are screenshots so they can differentiate from the actual game. Mario Kart 8 screenshots (in HD) look really nice and crisp, but when you play it you'll notice it's not as pretty as you'd expected it to be.

It's not about the graphics but about the content i believe.
Sony has great games and Microsoft has them, but there exclusives don't catch me like nintendo.

I like Battlefield and CoD, but can (and rather do) play those games on a PC. Same like all the other big titles on PS or Xbox.

I also must admit that they should put other things like the search function in Lego city in the other Lego games for WiiU. That for me was a good add-on and made full use of the gamepad. Big thumbs up for that.

That's called bullshots. These screens are 1080p with anti-aliasing. Wii U will never run this game with this image quality. Nintendo does this often.

MK8 is 720p without any kind of AA.

Really everyone does it. It's not great but it's good marketing.

Generally if you want good graphical examples from games, you have to wait until the game comes out and then run it on highest on a high end computer. Or for consoles, well just on the console then.
