Alright here is my take, The Wii U just like the Xbone and PS3.5 might not apeal to everybody, while you make like TLOU i hate it, while you might hate Mario i may love it. (Here comes the point) stop trying to list out games and say that onr console is better then the other cuz it got "better" games or mpre horse power. His post had nothing to do with liking Nintendo it was just saying he only liked one franchise out a list of mostly great franchises. I was criticizing his taste in general, not his liking of Nintendo (if there is any indication towards that, I haven't read back far enough).

I was thinking if this is true then why didn't Nintendo publish Skyward Sword to Wii U? That game looked amazing on Wii and only increasing resolution would've already made it look even better.

That's something I always tought, Skyward Sword looks amazing under Dolphin,
it surely could do well on WiiU, just look at how well Wind Waker turned.

Just take a look at it running in Dolphin with 0x AA and 16x AF:


Maybe WiiU could do even better, which would be fantastic.

You're just noticing that trend now? AFAIK, this has been happening around this site for some time, unfortunately. This is why I stopped voicing my opinion on gameplay vs. graphics...it's...complicated as to why I stopped.

If people are still debating gameplay vs. graphics, there's thankfully been a healthy line-up of indie games that prove graphics aren't everything.

How about the most talked about upcoming Xbox One indie game, Cuphead? Technically, its graphics are extremely bad: blurry and aberrated. Yet, it's one of the more interesting indie game releases on any platform.

Do I even need to mention Minecraft? Detailed, highly realistic graphics are nice, but only if it fits the style of the game. I can't imagine Minecraft being as popular as it is today if it weren't for the super-blocky "low-res" graphics.
