I Just saying after a while the same thing is get dry , 1996 to now
That's why there's Shin Megami Tensei, Devil Survivor, Devil Summoner, Digital Devil Saga, etc. Persona is only one aspect of the Megami Tensei franchise (although it has been given more attention recently than others).
No really because it would just be moving from a high school setting to a working environment
I can imagine it now... Social link with Janet from accounting.

That is true but persona is the only mainstream one in the group

Idk, I always thought it would be cool if the protagonist was in highschool and the rest of your group weren't so you couldn't always communicate with them.
Like if you had a middle aged guy and a dropout and like some street punk or something.

I've always been a guy interested in unique party members.

There's already plenty of social links with older people. Jester, Death, Devil, Heirophant, etc. Sure, they're not in your party, but even they were, do you really think their job would keep them from saving the world? "You know, I'd love to take on this giant eyeball that emits gas, but these TPS reports... sorry."

Unique party members are great, but they don't really fit in Persona, in my opinion. The whole thing is about how normal people can do the impossible and whatnot.

Persona 5 and Persona 4 Dancing All Night will be at TGS this year. Persona 5's trailer will also be analyzed at SEGA's conference! Hype!

Also, can a mod move this to general gaming?

Report it next time, or I might not have seen it. I would be glad to move it.

I am considering actually purchasing a physical copy of this game come stateside. Depending when it drops, it will be the second physical game I will own for my PS4.
Can I use this thread to be sad for a few minutes? I haven't heard anything about Devil Survivor 2 coming to 3DS in a LONG while. I am afraid that in the selling of Altus's parent company and stuff they musta put it down. Which IMO sucks, because the 3DS was becoming a great place for SMT games.

Oh good! Well at least there is hope. I wonder if DS1 sold well enough to warrant a release of DS2 outside of Japan.

Either way, getting a pretty steady stream of Persona titles and the recent SMT4 is pretty sick.

On another note, Atlus USA needs to confirm the PS4 release. Just because...I need to know this...
I doubt they'd stick to localizing only the PS3 version and not the PS4 version. I'm no biologist, but it seems like most of the work for one platform would be easily copied to the next (since they're both Playstations and whatnot).
