Since Sho is the villain of P4AU, he could very well end up in prison in the end too. This theory may just be possible.
Persona 5 is keeping with the current "teenagers in school trend." Just because the teaser has a ball and chain doesn't mean the characters are literally in jail. Imprisoned, sure, but in a more metaphorical sense.

The p5hero in his data makes it seem like a pretty plausible theory. There isn't really enough info on the game to be sure about anything though

Other than not being able to verify that data myself, if it says P5 hero where Sho's name should be, I have little reason to doubt it really...
I think it would feel really different playing as Sho, because he's an established character. P4AU is giving him a personality so it will no longer be a blank slate for the player to decide with in-game choices. That's one of the reasons I don't think it will be him (as the MC at least, he can still be a "P5 Hero" if he's on the player's side).

Sho being in Persona 5 just feels weird, though. According to that thread, Sho's an underclassman of Yu. That would mean that Persona 5 is going to take place in the same city, and even school, as Persona 4. That would also, almost definitely, mean that Yu and the rest of the Inaba crew are in Persona 5. In one of the interviews, the Persona director did say P3 and P4 fans would feel "at home" in P5, but that's grasping at straws, I would think.

That city looks like Akihabara. o:
Awesome about the PS4 thing too.

I wonder if the neogaf person was just plain lying. It's easy to type that P5hero stuff in.

damnit, now I need to buy a ps4. I'd saying the neogaf person lying is definitely a possibility, and probably true. Hate it when people do that to confuse everyone.

Persona 5's character design is already better than 4's.
Thank god.

Hey now, 4's designs weren't that bad.

when I saw the persona 5 trailer i was disappointed that they were continuing the high school transfer student thing. I was hoping it was going to be more like Catherine. A more mature setting and not a bunch of high school students( persona 1,2,3,and 4 what was I expecting). I was hoping for something like a work environment dealing with co-workers and adult situations. well I hope the story will be good.

Persona will always have a high school setting.

If they were to do something like that it would probably be it's own series.
