Hacking Wii U: To wait or not to wait

I hope it happens. But i do also hope Online is a possibility as i want that, so if spoofing etc works it would be great. But it seems i shouldn't anticipate that to much.

No no!

You play normal, "legal" characters, items etc, honest gameplay;P!
But love those games, never a disappointment.

All I've done is import characters into Brawl, characters that were either removed at the last minute, I hate cheaters online, but to be honest, I had too much bad luck, too much lag on the Brawl servers. I only hack characters and music, that's all, no mechanics are altered in any way. Krystal, General Scales, King K. Rool, Candy Kong, I've done them all. Heh. I don't mod to cheat lol XD.

so there is no ID for those characters, or any real model etc?

Well, there are traces of characters in the game, Roy, Mewtwo, Dixie Kong and a couple of other Pokemon I believe, but only traces. Krystal was going to be in there as well, and uh, well, yes, they essentially act as skins or "rigs" and go over existing characters' skeletons, Krystal I imported on my own

Yeah well traces is nothing then. I mean no real information that can be used to make the "Actual" character;P

But well that's totally acceptable in my book, as you said yourself, you are not cheating, and that's were it's ruining others experience;P

Of course modding/hacking for solo play is another thing

This is actually what I (kinda) hope full-on homebrew will require: a modded one for HB and maybe some other network gaming, like XLink Kai for the 360, and a stock WiiU for regular online gaming.
That way most cheats that would inevitably come with a hacked WiiU would stay where people expect them, (and enjoy them?) and good games will still be bought and played as usual.
The WiiU needs every software sale it can get, to ensure its future, and even if it's somewhat expensive to buy another WiiU, a refurb or one without the pad could still be fairly cheap.
Just my 2 cents...
