Hacking Gateway PRIVATE BETA 2.3b

So im using the beta and a'll myy roms are stuck on the 3ds loading screen.

the same thing happened to me when i 1st try and use 2.2. hold down the power button and fully turn off the ds. Then take out the red card, boot into gateway and put in red card to run it. It should work after the restart

So, power off, reboot into the gateway menu (put red cart in now) and choose the first option (Boot into Gateway mode - or whatever it's called) then resume? - Yeah, still not working for me. Huh.

after turning off the ds wait like a few mins than retry. If it still does the same thing sorry man. It worked for me when i was installing 2.2 I didnt try the 2.3 b private beta yet.

I know it was posted somewhere...but how do you backup EMUNAND? I forgot how to read the partition part of the SD (windows doesn't open this partition for me). want to backup the emunand of the older fw just in case.

I got the private beta, but when I updated my emunand to 8.1 it would not boot. I tried rebooting gateway mode and I even tried formatting emunand again (made a backup of previous emunand and the sd card first of course) then tried updating again but still got the same result. Anyone else have this problem?

Emunand isn't booting. It just stays at the black screen and never loads the updated emunand

I see. Well if you look above, I had issue - my games weren't booting. So I reinstalled my old emunand backup, and then upgraded again to emunand 8.1 and now my games are working. (I also redownloaded the leak, itself, from a different source, so this may be the 'legit' one, haha!)

I tried downloading it from 2 different sources as well. Still no luck. I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Hmm. I don't want to derail the topic here, and put paragraphs, so I'll send you a PM with a lotta information which could help.

are you sure your using the 2.3 launcher. What your describing should only happen on the 2.2 launcher because 8.1 emunand on 2.2 leads to black screen. Erase the launcher off your SD card and put a fresh one on (compare the hashes with other ones in this thread to make sure the file is legit).

Vengenceonu I definitely have the 2.3 launcher. I restored my previous 7.1 emunand backup and I'm updating again. The wifi here really sucks so it takes like an hour to download..

Successfully installed 8.1 emunand. Downloaded all the updates on the eshop. Backed up all the files on pc then copied them all back after the update. The save files on the SD card are fine. But I have some problems. My Friend Code changed when I clicked the smiley icon I don't know why. My Mii Plaza population turned 0. Puzzle Swap and Find Mii 1 and 2 reset back to beginning. All hats lost.

Tomodachi Life is quite funny. But if you do not like Animal Crossing, you will not like this game.
