Both blue and red cards do not work on the console after system transfer. Which was strange.
When I go into DS settings, the profile card comes up instead.
I checked internet settings and for some reason, a connection was there when it should not have been.

I'm going to need to revert the sysnand the hard way.

Cannot re-apply GW hack with Blue Card.
I think I may figured out the cause of it, but I'm going to worry about it later.

Yeah, don't worry. Something similar happened to my console in the past when I changed the language. The profile hack was still there but Gateway would not load (returned a black screen), so I stupidly thought that Nintendo somehow "semiupdated" my 3DS, lol.

I bricked my 3ds xl! It shut down suddenly and now I can't turn it on anymore.

I usually go for my Blue card when I figure that something is wrong with GW, but this is the first time the Blue Card died on me.

Im on a EU 3ds. I have just tried youkai watch 2 honke and saved 2 minutes in right at the start just before going downstairs to talk to the mother. I then exited to game main title, then pressed home menu -> quit. Went back on game and my save was still there. I then turned off 3ds and then back on the game and my save was still there. So far so good it seems...yay!

To anyone else who tried, can you confirm if the patch is necessary or not?
I'm planning to get the patch from e-Shop but I want to know since I have a non-JP GW-ready console as well.

I have a US 3DS with 8.1 emunand and can confirm Honke is working without installing the update. The only thing I noticed was it displayed a error message when attempting to write to SD card on initial launch. I ignored it I played about 30min into it and saved. Rebooted and the save was still there.

I am going to check Ganso tomorrow.

How to lodge a complaint to GW about 2.3B Classic Mode's inconvenience caused by the GW cart verification?

I have one 4.X console playing legitimate carts with emuNAND.
The 2.3B requires a GW verification to enter the Classic Mode but previous versions don't.
Now I can't continue playing those legitimate carts without ejecting them.
This is quite annoying.

If I press X to force entering Classic Mode, without verifying GW cart, it Blackscreens.

Gateway are not going to change this.

If you have an original gateway, just put the card in.
If you do not have an original gateway, maybe you should buy one if you are going to use the launcher they coded.

It may be inconvenient, but I imagine it is to stop non Gateway owners using this feature.

Jeez, whatever happened to there being one thread for people to whine, complain, and ask questions that have already been asked dozens of times in? Guess the mods gave up.

Online SSB is looking pretty possible right now. I wonder how Nintendo will handle all of the Gateway (and possibly reverse-engineered SSPWN) users, if at all.

Buddies, I think adding an extra icon like 'Update Emunand' would be great, so people don't mistakenly update their realnand as well as ease our life...
if anyone close to developers in Gateway team, would be glad if you can ask them...

Edit: I think it will be more efficient, if we all ask about it. They will surely respond to our needs...

I backed up my nand.bin file. Now I know i need that file but should I use emuNAND Tool 1.0.1 and make another backup of my card. I already formatted my 3ds's sd card to trim it down to half it size. So i was wondering if i wanted to update my emunand if I'm set. And if i wanted to restore my nand.bin back to 4.4 if i could use the 1 i already have.
