Some nice things so far, I have nothing really to add unless you want a remix of some of the existing ones.

What I am mainly here to say is several of you have given me nice ideas on graphics in general, better yet I even managed to puzzle out how I would do it without looking up a tutorial and probably did not veer into http://xkcd.com/763/ territory either. I might be able to get this graphic design business on lock yet.

There are a lot of promising designs here, much better than anything I could come up with. Despite that, I thought I'd throw out my design just for shits and giggles.

As far as names are concerned, why not think about how Nintendo formatted their app store's name?

For them, they went with the eShop.

Why not build around that idea?

eShop = electronic Shop, or at least that's the closest they've hinted to.

How about:

bDrop = brew Drop

As a payload must be "dropped" into memory to take over usermode execution, and this "dropped" payload gives us access to homebrew, it seems appropriate.

Not the best suggestion I'm sure, but if we really want it to have a name that's appropriate for the platform, we should think like this.

While they function similarly, the 3DS does not use channels. Naming it "channel" is wrong and out-of-place.
