Do note that the browser exploit was patched in the new firmware though so you won't be able to run WiiU homebrew which is already in the works.ok thanks use guys are freaking awesome thanks for the help I thought the vwii would be different from the good old wii with its security and all now i got no worries just treat it like a normal wii with most things besides cios and priiloader.
Yes, vWii it's in another NAND chip so it should keep working, but it's very strange to a Nintendo update brick the vWii, unless it touches a vIOS, but they need what are they doing, the 5.1.0U update had touched the IOS62, and added a new channel.
according to f0f:no they can't noticed a hacked WiiU - Vwii because the Vwii is ''sandbox'' and is not used/recognized by WiiU mode(Cafe OS)
It is actually ON the same NAND but in a different bank of the same chip.
according to f0f:
All of the updating and downloading for vWii actually happens in WiiU mode.
So the WiiU is vWii aware but mostly likely not the other way around.
This is also the reason a messed up vWii doesn't allow the WiiU to update properly.
what! they already got home brew on the wii u i knew about the exploit did not know that it gives you home brew on the wii u mode thanks for the infoDo note that the browser exploit was patched in the new firmware though so you won't be able to run WiiU homebrew which is already in the works.

ok note to self do not mess up vwii or wii u will not update how its meant to. thank you
we have an exploit but no actual home-brew just yet but its just on the horizon the exploit works on 4.0-5.1.0 ...patched on 5.1.1 so keep away from 5.1.1 if possible
But, NWPlayer say Webkit it's full of bugs, so we need to wait to they do a new one, I'm only saying it's stills possible of got a new exploit.
What? in the TearDown of the Wii U it SHOWNS the 2 separated NANDs, one of 512MB (vWii) and other with 8GB (Wii U)!
