Best and best you can still find today (though realistically it is the only one you can still find today that is worth your time) are probably different things. Anyway you want an EZFlash 4 aka EZ4. The most annoying part is it wants miniSD (and those adapters frequently cause trouble) rather than microSD.

As for where to buy it they are still reasonably common. http://www.realhotstuff.com/EZ-Flash-iV_p_76.html has some as does http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=504 and they are both good shops, others might have other suggestions for shops.

cool, thanx for the tips! I have a EFA 256 Mbit and it works equally perfect today as it did 10 years ago =) <3
(If I had the EFA 512 Mbit version I would be completly satisfied)
My supercard mini sd is kind of horrible (save issues, game compatibility, draining battery and lagging).

I guess I have to buy a EZ4 before they are gone!

I'm also looking into getting another GBA flashcart.
I tried to get an EFA-Linker II several years ago but ended up with a fake one.. :\
But I was lucky that it was at least working somehow. After having tried endless different drivers I got it more or less running with drivers intended for the EFA-Linker I.
To be able to load games onto it today (which is always a gamble) I have to use a virtual XP machine.

But the card is now beginning to work less reliably :(
Without it my Game Boy Micro wouldn't be the same! I'm playing all my favorite classic Game Boy titles on it.
I guess I'll also have to get a new flashcart before mine really dies.

I thought of trying to get a real EFA II this time if it's still available.
Or would you recommend getting an EZ4? How do the two compare to each other?

The best card ever made is the EZ-Flash 3. I have an EZ Flash IV Lite Deluxe and i use it with many GBA. I have also a K1 GBA and it's a very good clone. For me the best way to play GBA is GBA SP AGS 101, DS Lite then K1 GBA. The most pratical is K1 GBA if you want to play/test many games and it's perfect for RPG.

I'm curious, why do you recommend the EZ3 over it's successor?

It has RTC, supports ROM compression, has a decent cheat engine, comes with a linker which makes it the best way to dump GBA ROMs and saves, most of the extra features actually work and it came in flavours bordering that of what a miniSD would get to, certainly better than what miniSD cost at the time of the EZ4's launch.

The EZ4 was aimed at the DS but also retained GBA capabilities because it was easy and also basically the same design, however the EZ4's GBA abilities are a tiny bit lacking. Being the only standalone GBA cart that works and was readily available though people have latched onto it.
With a proper loader the EZ4 would be as good as any non RTC cart (so plays everything and just needs a patch for the few games with RTC) but the GBA games work and the DS then seemed to be the focus of the EZTeam at that time.

Another option is the EZ Flash 3-in-1, but you need a DS/DS Lite and a DS flashcard for it to work. You can only load one game on it at a time, but it works like a real game, so you could use games that link up that way, such as with Pokemon migration. It also allows you to use it as a rumble pack or a RAM expansion for DS games, although the rumble feature needs patched ROMs, usually. I don't remember the exact details because it's been a while since I tried it.

The EZ Flash 3-in-1 is a very different type of GBA flash cart, but if that is the sort of thing you're after, that's the best option. If you want a traditional flash cart, then... well, everyone else has already talked subject to death, so I don't really need to repeat everything, do I?

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.

He couldn't eat until after his MRI, when he had a bomb pop.
