Nand saving should be possible without updating FPGA, by patching the saving method directly so it will save to the SD card, rather than what GW did (updating the FPGA to support the NAND write commands)
At least that's what one of the hackers said. It may be more work that way but memory patching has already been done (even in-game memory patching by certain hackers)

well, yeah it would be possible, but i think that's giving the clones a bit too much credit than they deserve........technically they could have multi rom too if you patch the roms to load from the SD card......but at that point its just free rom loaders all around.

personally i think people will be luck if they get 3.0 re-branded as 4.0, these guys are more than likely busy with their new clone......a leopard never changes its spots.....but they will change someone else's and pretend its theirs :P

just figured i would save people the effort of explaining why R4i could *technically* get multi rom....but again cloners clone for a reason....cause they cant do it on themselves :)

anyways lets just wait 3 days im sure r4 will turn up with multi-rom,nand saving, eshop support,online support, homebrew support....and probably 7.x encryption cracked.....you know cause its technically possible....oh and 7.2 console support ofc

Plus I didn't realize r4 released a new fw for their ds mode flashcard on 7.2 update :o , guess they haven flown off yet
 
Lel guys , I would show you the mails but since it got "released" I guess it won't be needed.

I sent just a few minutes ago a message to 3dslink team asking if the new version was gonna came soon. They replied me with a "we are testing it for bugs if it goes good it will release Soon(tm)" I told them if they maybe could make a beta like gateway did since there are people with the usb mod to test it and they replied me with a "Good idea , I'll send this advice back to our engineer." And before I could post the ss here they sent me another mail telling me it was released on the web already I was like O.O WTF.

Checking the web tho I was starting to get dissapointed as the changelog is:

1.Multi-ROM
2.EmuNand
3.Online Eshop

So I thought instantly , damn , 3.0 rebranded really?. But the file they have released it's not either 3.0 or 3.3b(2.0) , it's smaller than even 3.3b. I have asked them tho if there is other change or what lol

ED: They have replied me in 2 messages : "Emunand has been deleted from the code" "Try it out for yourself" , I tell them I'm already using 3.0 which has same compatibility and if it supports pokemon or whjat ( really doubt it lol )

I can't find link to 2.1 anywhere , would like to check if it's a copy of this version or they did some original work , someone care to try it?

You can't link to the download pages.....also anyone still surprised that the cards are the same really shouldn't be, they are the exact same cards with a different sticker
 
Odd. They actually did some work for once. I think in the future they may copy MT-Card though. :P
 
lol looks like 3dslink realized the eshop support was too much to predict, it's not in their changelog for 4.0B2 anymore
