Every other game, we win and lose and the pattern remains once again. Today we went to Washington State (aka Wazzu) and had a slow start on both sides until we almost shut them out. I say almost because Wazzu threw a touchdown in garbage time, giving us a 24-6 win. I'd say luck helped us win the game too as we somehow got a touchdown while losing the ball. Pretty good for a first conference win.

In other news, Texas trounced Oklahoma 48-17 thanks to Vince Young's arm, propelling them to #1 on the poll. Quinton Broussard from Toledo leads the Heisman watch with the same faces from last week following behind. Travis Daniels (LSU, CB) won the DPOW with 6 tackles and a pick 6. Florida State had a good comeback at Syracuse. Syracuse had a 24-3 lead in the first half then collapsed with a 43-31 loss at home.
From now on, I'll actually list the top 25 teams from the Coaches' Poll. Sorry AP, but you simply have less value. You would have no value next year anyway!
#20 South Carolina, #22 Notre Dame, and #24 Virginia Tech dropped out the rankings.
