As the first DS homebrew, me and elhobbs have improved the DsDoom! :D

Now to answer the obvious question, does it have MUSIC?
Yes HORRAY! Many thanks to elhobbs for making musplay.c examples and quite a few other stuff!

This update (v1.4) has brought a few new things and options
First of all, there is a new menu
fW7IeRB.png

It looks nice and such, however the only new functional menu is "Screen Mode"
Screen Mode has 3 options
*Dual - Game is on top screen and automap/HUD on bottom
*Single - Game and HUD on top screen, no automap (Bottom Screen is black)
*Console - Same as above but there is console text on the bottom screen
Hope this makes everyone happy c:

Command line currently says "Work in progress! Press B"

The NetGame was moved into these menus as you can see here:

The IWAD menu has been redone slightly, pressing on 'Custom' brings up the same screen as CmdLine

file.php

Doesn't look as good except for clearer minimap, however this does improve a LOT of FPS

Not too much changes but

Code:
DsDoom SVN 1.0
*Improved the first screen. (Neaten it out and make it a little easier to read)
*WAD Selection.
*Original 'Ouch' face bug fixed.

TODO:
Code:
*Remove the screen scaling and just render it the same as the DS resolution.
Hopefully that will make the FPS better
*Midi music.... Don't know anything about it

So yeah I wanna improve it more, but I wanna learn how to make DsTwo homebrew and port it there with the extra CPU but not sure how to
Any help for that :D

Where do I get the prboom.cfg file from?

It should generate it (Apperently it doesn't save CFGs) but if you really need it, it would be on the original dsdoom site. I'll include it in the next version
what sources does this build upon? is this based off the last wintermute update? with argv and dsi-mode support?

-another world
I think so, it's based off version 1.2.1

Thanks. I'm not sure if I need it I got an error when I tried to load some wads 'Iwad not found' is there a specific location I need to put them?. Great work btw I and many others really appreciate your effort improving this homebrew.

You need to put the wads in the same folder as dsdoom.nds

Also thanks :D

Thanks, they were in the wrong directory I was using a dstwo plugin so I put them in the plugin folder. Just an observation - in the welcome screen the cursors ] and [ do not align with 'Standard game' it aligns with 'Network game' and then to the blank line below it.

EDIT: Just realised its in the todo list, doh!
