Hacking Where to get a firmware 4.5 or below 3DS XL?

Philippines. Local Datablitz store. Trinoma QC. Got a brandnew red/black XL 4.2.xU. Serial SW109xxxxxxx.

I just went in to "Elgiganten" in Sweden and checked the boxes for 3DS XL. Many with "Copyright 2012" and I was able to see the serial numbers too so no problem.
Mine came with 4.2.0-9E. Upgraded to 4.5 with retail card. Silver/Black.

I asked to 4 vendedors for a new factory sealed console with serial number below sw126... two don't respond, other has 2012 sw14...that say, and lottery! the last has 1 with sw124... serial that now its at home, some months ago I find my first 3dsxl ver.4.2 more easier, now I took me about a month to find one new and a good price.

Went to K-Mart in the US, found a bunch of Blue/Red XLs that should've been ok. I went with the lowest to be safe. Also got a coupon for $0.30 off per gallon of gas and $30 back in reward dollars which I think I can use on video games, not positive how their system works.

If youre in the US, try your local Radioshack. I went to today and to my disbelief I got a 3DS with 1.1.0-0U lol!

Few questions: What game should I get to update to 4.1-5? Also, are there any exploits on pre-4.5 firmwares that I should know about?

I missed out on getting the last 3ds xl I inquired about, but I found another blue/black. This one's serial number is "SW122425989" and it a 2013 USA system. Would this for sure be running 4.5 or lower fw? I would like to know before I buy. Thanks guys.

The highest serial# confirmed to be 4.5.0 on the GBATemp Wiki is SW1278xxxx x so you should be good. It does mention two contradictions, but those are reported as 6.1.0 which sounds crazy to me as it should have been 5.x.x if they came from the factory. Maybe they were returns?

Make sure the box is sealed on both ends with round transparent stickers (2 on one end, 1 on the other).

I suggest to those who are planning on buying a Japanese 3ds, try the limited edition 3ds packs before the firmware 5 release because they were never renewed unlike the regular ones.
