Hardware Vita 3.10 update

Hi everyone! The next system software update for PS Vita, version 3.10, will be available for download beginning later today. This update brings some anticipated and useful features to PS Vita, including the ability to display more than 100 applications on the home screen (we know you’ve been waiting patiently for this one), and a new Calendar application.

Check out some of the new features and changes in PS Vita’s 3.10 system update below:

You can now display up to 500 applications on the home screen.
A Calendar application has been added for PS Vita, allowing you to set up gaming events with your friends. Sync your Google calendar to have all your events with you on your PS Vita. You can also share your favorite events by using the Messages and Email applications.
A new “Manage Content on Memory Card” option has been added to the Content Manager application. You can now view the data on your memory card, making it easier than ever to manage content on your PS Vita. You can now view memory usage by content type, and delete content and applications.
You can now send and receive voice messages using the Messages application on PS Vita. Exchange voice messages with your friends and players on PS4 and PS Vita.

I'm happy with the changes to the Content Manager, I'm glad that the system is finally getting a calendar (I mean c'mon - "date and time" is every OS'es basic functionality) and voice messages seem like a pretty neat idea - nice update.

Honestly, whenever I see a new Vita title announced that looks interesting I would just jot it down in a notebook. Now I can just jot them down on the new calender app.

All I know is that I got my Vita just after they removed the last game exploit from the PSN, so I was waiting for this to happen as now it is more likely to bring newer exploits forward, so I can enjoy my Vita fully.

Actually, I am impatient. I am offering $100 on PayPal to anyone who can get me a working exploit for the new firmware. I am using the Canadian version of PSN, so the game should be available there for me to download. PM me if you can help me out and you want $100.

How about instead of that you just buy a PSP and a memory card, since it's infinitely better to use that for PSP mode shit than the Vita.

i am waiting for them to return the games to psn network so i can install the exploit via ps3 ,i was gonna update but i need the kexploit so buez +ps

if you do not have the game already installed then NO EXPLOIT FOR YOU (till a new one is found)
you need to be on the newest vita FW to send stuff to the vita from the PS3

as soon as you know what game is needed you need to BUY IT and INSTALL it to your vita

I'd say update if you want the next Vita PS+ games or if you already have a PSP.

Do Vita games require certain updates like PS3 games do?
I say that's a bigger reason too.

Got another minor update today. With 3.10, some of the higher capacity memory cards were reported as corrupted, so Sony took a look and released a patch for it. For those who have come across the corruption, they recommend taking the corrupted memory cards out of the Vita, updating, and then putting the card back in. That should keep all your data intact.

Or you can buy 2 years of PS+ and have more games than you can shake a stick at/not be dumb
