Okay, so I have recently got back to using my 3DS and I wanted to use my DSTWO. After a friend of mine I lent it to updated it meant I had to source a DSLite which was reasonably easy. So after updating it with the newest firmware v1.25 if I recall correctly I then put it into my 3DS. It was not recognized so I do the usual. I clean the contacts, blow into the 3DS slot. Try out another game to eliminate the 3DS as the problem. I then reinstall the EOS, again no luck. However it works on the DSLite perfectly so I do not know what is wrong. My 3DS version is 7.0.0.

Might be one from the bad batch.
You could check out the acekard contact issues topic and try some of those solutions.
Bad batch? I doubt it, it has always worked before on my 3DS and works on my DSLite. It is a GBATemp special edition one, so there was only 1 batch.

I flashed it with v1.19 then with v1.25 and it worked on my 3DS then when I took it back out and put it in again it came up with the same error.

Good luck getting support. The instructions for setting it up were terrible. They did not even mention that you needed to format your card FAT32

It seems a contact issue, and may I add that it is assumed you need to format your card fat32.

Why would anyone "assume" that? Most cards are preformated in exfat these days. The setup instructions should include a list of which SD cards and file formats are supported.

Japanese games from the 80's are more clear than DS2 instructions.

Well almost all microSDs used in flashcards are formatted or to be formatted in FAT32. I thought anyone in the flashcard scene would know this, sorry.

@BakerMan, Any idea what happened? I hope that your brother's doing good.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
He couldn't eat until after his MRI, when he had a bomb pop.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
What matters now is that he's doing alright.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But you still don't know what it was?
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Has he had seizures before?
