Hi.

i have GW with sysnand 4.5 and emunand 4.5

i completed zelda ALBW and created my dark link character in order to send it to other players via streetpass.
but when i'm close to other players the 3ds's led turns green and i receive streetpass stuff for mario kart and mario 3D land, but my shadow link is not transferred to other people's 3ds's. of course i activate the streetpass thing in the game and the intercomunication slider is activated.

ALBW streetpass wont show either in the notifications list thing in the 3ds's menu.
What is happening?

BTW. 3D land and mario akrt are the only games that i played without emunand, back in the days of GW 1.2

Hmmmm... now that I think about it its also the only 2 games I got streetpasses.
+ The demo of bravely default.

I always thought that people didnt have Zelda for example or didnt activate streetpass for it.
Its a bit weird because these 3 games I got legit. (BD Demo for free, MK7 already as bundle, Mario 3d World as present for registering)...

But I got a errormessage for edrian odysee. It said to agree to the contract of streetpass in the ds settings. Was weird.

I think streetpasses occur less on emunand for some reason. I used to get a ton of streetpasses with mii plaza when I go to one of my lectures, now it's significantly less.

if you are playing roms from different regions, then streetpass may not work asyou actually have to agree to the terms of service of the streetpass of that region and if the rom doesnt fit your region, then naturally, you never agreed to those terms as your 3ds never asked you for that... at least thats how I remember it from a similar thread a while ago - so maybe that could be the case for any of you?
I gotta say, I use the homepass method with my phone, if I need streetpasses and never had any issues not getting passes for my games, so I'd suggest you try that, if you really need some

I streetpass just fine on my 3ds with Emunand 7.0.2 & GW 2.0b2.
I used it for BD and still got streetpasses regardless of region, BD is EU but my 3ds is US.

I also used Homepass relay not actual 3ds to 3ds streetpassing.

If you keep having trouble, try what i do and Update to GW 2.0b2 (Beware of the Brickcode) and update Emunand to 7.0.2 and Use Homepass relay (there are many threads on how to make this work for your PC).
Once you get your Streetpassing Fill (Run the game once and Save to Save the Streetpass hits in the Game), backup your emunand Using Emunand Tool (a pc program, search GBATemp for it), Backup your Saves on the SD card, Revert back to GW 2.0b1 or 1.2, Format SD for emunand, Place back Saves, Play game with new streetpasses.

Try going to Streetpass settings (in the System Settings somewhere) to see if the streetpass slots are full and if Zelda is listed there? IIRC you can only have streetpass active for ~12 games.

During my trip, I Streetpassed just fine. Disney World was FILLED with them. BUT, Nintendo has this stupid thing that you can only have TEN Streetpasses at once! I didn't find that out until halfway through the trip. What the FUCK, Nintendo?!
Well, it always shows X/10. And it depends on the game. Kid Icarus can have 50. But some of the mii park minigames wouldn't even make sense with >10 (like Mii Force). And I assume there's a very limited amount of storage a game can use for Streetpass data.

I guess I've found the answer In Sysnand

In emunand

I was believing that only sysnand games would could make street pass but bravely default did too
The only reason I could give now is that I have EUR Zelda in my American 3ds. Which I don't remember

EDIT: but hey. i have eur Bravely Default and it has transferred data 5 times.
is it region free? did i do streetpass with other consoles that had the demo who did it whit? no one around me has flashcart neither the game

Not on mine. In the plaza, I can only have ten at a time and the Streetpass content depends on the game. I know Resident Evil Revelations is 10/10 for sure.

Yeah, but I think Kingdom Hearts is 3 and I'm sure Kid Icarus is 50. If you check your streetpass notifications it should tell you the max amount though.

Wow, I was wondering the same thing, and region-locking on some games' streetpass abilities makes a ton of sense.

Streetpass - using emunand and GW 2.0b1 / GW2.0b2 - works for a number of my games, including Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, and some Crosswords game I tried out once. It doesn't work for ALBW or FE:A. Tested both with my roommate who has a legitimate cartridge and got nowhere.
