I am a bit cynical since I have never seen any of your work. That being said, I wish you the best of luck.

Thats understandable. I assure you I am legit, however. While most fakes say that a lot, once I get a running/stable build of Nintendont working I plan on releasing the source and the compiled version on the same day, while still releasing updates.

I see. Are you going to pick up from the r5 build or what have you that has a few more games working than WW?

Also, I haven't looked into it myself, but which language is nintendont written in?

Im working off of the r5 build. Main goal is to achieve stability first. After that, adding support for more games. Then a GUI that is user friendly. ( I personally like the way WiiFlow looks, though who doesn't? ).

Everyone love it,of course, because will be a sweet add to the scene. I was worried before crediar decide stop, but in this case you sounds more entusiastic. My only expectation is if you "nintendont" be able to finish for whatever reasons, please, give us a feedback. I will understand and belive many other people will too.

That is exactly what I'm trying to do. Im just trying to revive a homebrew application that the community had wanted, but never "fully got". Gotta thank Crediar for all his hard work on the project though. I will provide feedback as things move forward, and also some unrelated tidbits such as the mentioning about LeterBomb on VWii I posted earlier.

Nintendont is not a project to start up with, especially if you aren't familiar with Wii homebrew. Building a dol file isn't an accomplishment, since you could compile it without making any changes. You're bragging that you were able to type "make" into a terminal and press Enter.

Go to Wiibrew and pick up one of the dozens of unfinished projects.

I'm not really sure why you mentioned letterbomb at all, the behavior you describe is exactly what happens when anybody tries to run it on vwii. Apparently your "information" is just based on following the directions on the please.hackmii.com website?

Same for successfully running nintendont on vWii but getting an error when launching a game.
It's the normal behavior that all users can achieve, running the loader is fine. the problem is when you launch a game.
if you disable Debug on the loader and enable all debug on the kernel, it will even load the main.dol without crashing! it's just a matter of recompiling.

Before thinking about improving and adding new features and menu, I guess fixing current issues like random freezes and black screen is what you should focus on.

If you want beta tests, I can help on both Wii/vWii. I tested previous beta/alpha versions, I know what works or not.

Do you have any previous projects/homebrew?
Are you learning (full course lessons with teachers), or reading codes and trying things?

Is there a sandbox environment I can test stuff on without risk of bricking Vwii?

You sourpuss, let him try, i see noone else picking up the project.
Even if it is over his head at the moment, i really like his enthousiasm, thats sure one thing you need as dev.

ultraDoom go and prosper... and i'll put away the flame thrower for now :rofl2:
But please do not hesitate to ask for help from experienced coders...
