I am a bit cynical since I have never seen any of your work. That being said, I wish you the best of luck.
I see. Are you going to pick up from the r5 build or what have you that has a few more games working than WW?
Also, I haven't looked into it myself, but which language is nintendont written in?
Everyone love it,of course, because will be a sweet add to the scene. I was worried before crediar decide stop, but in this case you sounds more entusiastic. My only expectation is if you "nintendont" be able to finish for whatever reasons, please, give us a feedback. I will understand and belive many other people will too.

Maybe that can help? They're a good support website.

Same for successfully running nintendont on vWii but getting an error when launching a game.
It's the normal behavior that all users can achieve, running the loader is fine. the problem is when you launch a game.
if you disable Debug on the loader and enable all debug on the kernel, it will even load the main.dol without crashing! it's just a matter of recompiling.
Before thinking about improving and adding new features and menu, I guess fixing current issues like random freezes and black screen is what you should focus on.
If you want beta tests, I can help on both Wii/vWii. I tested previous beta/alpha versions, I know what works or not.
Do you have any previous projects/homebrew?
Are you learning (full course lessons with teachers), or reading codes and trying things?

You sourpuss, let him try, i see noone else picking up the project.Nintendont is not a project to start up with, especially if you aren't familiar with Wii homebrew. Building a dol file isn't an accomplishment, since you could compile it without making any changes. You're bragging that you were able to type "make" into a terminal and press Enter.
Go to Wiibrew and pick up one of the dozens of unfinished projects.

No.Is there a sandbox environment I can test stuff on without risk of bricking Vwii?
No.
Crediar displayed a sneek for vWii, but it's not a public release.
