The only MMO I will hype myself of doesn't have a class however have skills(500-1000+?) but have to be learned from npcs or monsters through quest, not fetch quests but actual fighting them and beating them.
No leveling system. It depends upon you which path you take. You start off being able to use daggers and casual clothing. The more you use a weapon, magic, armor or clothing, the more you can do with it.
e.g. Using fists will make your punches stronger, faster and you take less damage on your hands. using axes more will make you hit faster and carry heavier axes.
Wearing light clothing would make you evade better(rolling, back jump, parkour maybe). Wearing heavy armor would make you more resistant to damage.
You can wear anything, mage with full body armor, but the amount of exp you get from wearing
heavy armor/taking damage with it/dodging with it/moving with it is separate and calculated separately, which means simply standing and casting with it won't make you stronger with it, and heavy armor lowers move speed means you would still be easy target when casting.
Though that doesn't mean you can't be a mage/holy/dark knight.
No point skill system, but the more successful you are at using that skill.
e.g. quick-scoping(enhances scope in time) passive skill for snipers gain experience the more you quick-scope and successfully hit.
Skill would also branch off depending on how you use it.
e.g. when casting a fire ball, you can release it even if it's only half the channeling time resulting in weaker fireballs, however with enough times you do this, you would gain the ability to chain-channel fireballs so next casting would have lower channel time for the damage dealt.
Not releasing a fireball even it is fully channeled and use it as some weapon you wave around would make you learn orb of fire. it floats around you and have charges/health/expiration time.
Since everything would be available to the player, there's also the level down. The less you put your skills into practice, the more you experience exp loss. The exp loss however is way slower than the speed you gain it.
You can only stick to a certain build at a time. When you decide to go back and be an archer again however, because you're tired of being a mage, gaining experience will be easier. or better, you didn't even go full mage and shoot magical arrows instead.
But I can only dream.
