Sure it's as legit as any. If you wanna know if you should get this product over another that's not my job to sell you on. The r4i vs the gateway deal is a gamble either way as far as which comes first and which will be superior. I ordered from the link though and gave them my 40 bucks.

i think im going to buy r4i the price difference is huge and it come with better ds flashcard than gateway for my second up to date 3ds
