Hardware Does third Party Controllers work with Vita TV?

Hey guys,
I have been searching this for the last couple of hours, without any clear answer.

Dualshock 3 is bloody expensive :/ ANDDDDDD I dont even like it. When the Vita TV supports dualshock 4, I will be using that instead.

But for now.. does third party controllers work with Vita TV?

Controller is one thing you do not want to cheapen out. Nevermind their build quality, a lot of third party PS3 controller either does not have motion sensing, faulty buttons, or not being able to be picked up by PS3.

You could just pick up an used DS3 controller. Only cost 10 more pounds.

Or you could just wait couple months. When PS4 hit JP Sony will release update to allow Vita TV use DS4 controller.

I would go for the Dualshock 3... but like I mentioned, I am not a big fan of the dualshock 2,3 designs. Dualshock 4 on the other hand is awesome. BUT PS Vita TV does not support that YET.
So, even though I dont like the Dualshock 3, I guess I am gonna have to go for it.

I cant wait I dont have ANY PS3 controllers at the moment.

All foreign DS3 controllers work with Vita TV, I have both official and third party controllers all US versions and they worked.
