PS1/2 Ps2 rom question

I would like to know how to get roms from CDs I have a ps2 game I'd like to get the rom from cause I can't find the rom online my cousin said its a rare game but I'd like to get the rom btw it's the simpsons hit and run game

Using the program I linked you can make an ISO that is playable in a PS2 emulator from your disk.

I don't get it do you need your disk in for it to work.

You put the disc into your computer, you use imgburn to make an ISO (an image file) of the disc, you take the disc out of your computer, and then you can use this image file to play the game with PCSX2, or you can play it using a hardmodded/softmodded PS2.
