I'm looking to buy a PSP-Mode hacked Vita off of craigslist. However, some people falsely advertise their systems as hacked. How can I tell if a Vita is for sure on a CFW?
There's no accounts, so the only way to contact people is via e-mail, if they allow it.Ask the seller. Craigslist does have a message system like eBay, right?

Just a note, you are aware that it only plays a limited subset of PSP homebrew, right? It's only user-mode so it's the less-updated and less-speedy emulators (no media engine support) and no PSP ISOs and junk last I checked (unless my memory sucks on the ISO part).
A lot of people on craigslist don't want anybody to find out who they are for one reason or another. Do note that most of the people that use it aren't very techy and some of them are downright shady. So there is a messaging system. But instead of sending a message through the site itself, the buyer sends the message directly to the seller. Why would you have that feature deactivated in the first place? Or is there a problem with people sending viruses? I would think that's likelier.

Was fixed in 2.02 onward.
