Is your internet connection secured by WEP or WPA ? It MUST be WEP for the DS to connect to it.

My friend had exactly the same problem yesterday.
Your DS isn't connected to an access point. You must go in the Internet Settings thing and set it.

Your wifi is probably encrypted with WPA. When using a DSTWO, the game is run in DS mode, meaning that access to 3DS/DSi features (such as WPA encryption) are not available. Therefore, you'll need to change your wifi's encryption to get on it with your DSTWO.

When you changed to WEP, you changed the wireless access info so anything that gets online wirelessly would need to forget the network and reconnect, giving the new wireless password/key.
