Given your degree of pokemon fanness, I think a 2DS is good enough for you.Which do you thinkI should get for Christmas?
P.S. I'd love to see a Pikachu 2DS!
Two words only: XL
X and L together would be one word, an abbreviation for Extra Large... Two letters, you mean?
If you have a regular 3ds I guess it dont matter, but if not I would get a 3ds/xl, the effect maybe be a bit gimmicky and youll prob(will) turn it off eventually, but its still a cool 3d effect.Which do you thinkI should get for Christmas?

Hmm, now I wonder if there will be a 2DS XL.
I think the 2DS looks like a nice cheap entry system for people who want to pay as little as possible and do not put a big emphasis on portability. Don't get me wrong, it is still on the same portability level as a tablet, but not on the same level as a mobile phone or (3)DS.
I personally won't buy one in the near future because I have a 3DS XL and simply love the big screens. But I like the case design of the 2DS (except the awkwardly positioned controls), and maybe after I had the chance of holding one I'll buy one if it gets cheaper or I have too much money laying around (same policy as with all the special 3DS (XL) editions I like).
I currently own a 3DS XL which I'll be using with the Gateway 3DS flashcart and I'm planning to get the 2DS in the near future for online gameplay. I quite like the design of the 2DS.
