^only 95 cents! Only qualm for me is that it's 46 inches long which is needlessly long.

^1.99, 4 feet long

^ 2.99, no idea of its length

^7.99, 3 foot cable. Free shipping on orders over $25. I could see myself settling for this.

PSP uses 5v DC power source to charge the battery, so the USB also supply 5volts so I dont see why it wont work.

As long as you charge your PSP on PSP's charging port (not the USB port) and pluf it on your USB power source, it will work, Im using a A4tech USB hub that came with a DC adapter, I used that to charge my devices (PSP, DSi, Android Phone, etc. it works)

Voltage is not the only thing that needs to be considered when charging batterys as you need enough Amperage to push those volts in this case a Typical USB port on say a laptop will only push 25% (500mA) of the amp that the real charging cord (2000mA) from the wall would.

The PSP 1000 is the least power efficient of the PSP line up given it was the first as you can accept so it doesn't charge as well as the others on only 500mA

USB3.0 ports are required to be able to output 900 mA, the PSP 1K charges fine with a USB->DC cable on my usb3.0 port xP, so with modern hardware(2009+) you could play/charge fine with a notebook.
Expensive links.

This is awesome. Thank you. But I wish there were even shorter ones.

The shortest one is 95cm, which is 37.4 inches.
That isn't counting the one you linked to, which doesn't state its length, but seems like it's easily more than 3 feet.

But there's no sense in getting the same thing from amazon at a higher price.
Plus you showed me a website I didn't know about. They have PSP cables too.

One thing I could do, is settle for one of the retractable cables.

Doesn't get much shorter than that.. :v
