I made this skin based on the new v3 of GBATemp, I also took some of the original design from Opium and modified it for the EZIV.

Thanks

Using this for acouple days while I bring my DS on the road with me. Its much neater than my previous shell. Gives people something to look at when they are asking "how are you doing that?" Good show

Is EZflash IV better than EZflash V 3in1 and why?

EZ-flash 3-in-1 is designed to be used in DS consoles. It does not have its own memory card slot, games have to be flashed to it via a DS flash cart. It also comes in a smaller cart shell that fits a DS lite without sticking out, but is too small to fit into a GBA.
You *can* use one in a GBA, but it requies putting the internals into a full size GBA cart case and you have to use a DS to flash ROMs into the cart's NOR flash then put it in your GAB to play.

EZ-flash IV has its own microSD slot and is the same size as normal GBA games. It's a standalone cart and can be used in a GBA or DS without requiring a seperate DS flash cart (and a DS) to load games.

Thanks for all that, but i knowabout it.

What i meant is that are games run better, smoother, compatibility issues, freezes etc. on EZ V or IV?
Which card is better in that matter? :)

Ahh OK. I only have the ez-flash IV which runs all games I've tried full speed. As far as I know the 3-in-1 gives the same performance for GBA ROMs (Same speed RAM/NOR) and compatibility. Games that use RTC need patching (additional to save patching) and a few games have to be named using 8.3 convention but other than that full compatibility.

Fast6191 or one of the other blokes far more knowledgeable than myself on all things GBA should be able to confirm.

OK, that's all i needed to know :D thank you big time! :D

So IV & V are exactly the same in a way...

Just one more question.. I heard some people have problems with saves and with games like Metroid ZM & F
What could they be talking about?
I mean, Metroid Zero Mission & Fusion are the games i want to play the most :D

I have them on my cart. Just loaded zero mission, started a game from a blank slot (I haven't played it before on flash cart), played for a few mins, quit n loaded a different game to wipe the SRAM, loaded zero mission again and the save was there.
USA ROM with just normal ez-flash client save patching (I think the game is SRAM originally so probably doesn't even need that), didn't need to use 8.3 naming.

I'm not sure exactly how the 3-in-1 handles saves (would have to copy them back to the DS flash cart microSD when you next launch into DS mode I guess), but looks to work fine on a IV.
