I have (2) Mario edition 3ds.

Recently, one of the 3ds units is not showing the Mario game. I looked through the system files utility and no sign of it. Is it gone for good? Can I restore the game or copy system from good to the missing one?

If my kids did anything to it, not like they are going to tell me. I have no info to what led up to this point.

Thanks,
ISO-Man

Open the eShop and check the recent purchases/transaction history or whatever it's called, it should be in there somewhere and you should be able to redownload it. Any save files may have disappeared though.

Have the SD cards been swapped out? I'm sure by registering the console through the eshop there should be some way to recover.

It better have the same SD card :) I did play with it and a non-Mario 3ds card to see if there was a way for the non-Mario 3ds to have/play it. Game still exist after I did that. About what time can be expected for WiFi download/restore of the game ( I know ISP speed dictates).

iirc Mario Land 3D is about 200-300 mb and wifi halves ur internet speed.
If ur internet speed is 2 mbit/s it should take around 20 min to download.
