Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

What's the deal with this thingy that happened on USB Loader GX?

I finally figured out how to get USB Loader GX working, and regular games were working, but a strange thing was happening when I tired playing Wiiware. It kept disconnecting my wii remotes, and I couldn't connect them again until I pressed the reset button on my Wii. Same thing with Virtual Console! It also wasn't just a thing with channel forwarders.
So then I tried redumping the EmuNAND, (the NAND and the Saves) and it let me use the remotes with WiiWare and Virtual Console. Although when I plugged in a classic controller it kept forcing the right button. But only in-game. (although we accidentally bought an off-brand classic controller so that's probably why)
Anyway, all is well, it's working again, but I'm just wondering why it did that. And also, can you remove Channels off of the EmuNAND? There's a thing I'm gonna do for a YouTube video sometime.

Anyways...
