Hacking Jailbreak PS3 4.41 Firmware?

Can I jailbreak my ps3 on 4.41 firmware? I found a site but i'm not sure if its legit and I don't want a virus.

No, you can't - you have to downgrade to 3.55 using an E3 Flasher, a Progskeet or a similar kit and work from there. Every single site that claims otherwise is a scam.

A ProgSkeet costs about $60 but requires soldering skills for proper installation and use. An E3 Flasher costs about $90, but it can be installed solderless in many cases (by using clips), although in some, some soldering is required.

EDIT: Just looked and it looks like I can downgrade it. Where is the best place to buy an E3 Flasher?

CECH-2001A pops up as a 120GB PS3 Slim, is that correct? If so, it's downgradable via E3, which is the recommended flasher due to its relative ease of use. That being said, if it's going to be your first time soldering, perhaps it would be a good idea to give your console to a more experienced modder.

Devin, a member of the GBATemp staff downgrades PS3's for a small fee - I suggest contacting him. It will cost you less than doing it yourself (less than the kit plus postage), it's safe and it's quick.
