Gaming First WiiU Dump

Just putting it out there, the first Wii U dump was just done a few minutes ago.

The_Avengers_Battle_for_Earth_PAL_WiiU-VENOM <> released 10m 44s ago ( 2013-05-03 03:02:31 ) in Wii totaling 23823.40 MB in 100 files. 

I'm trying to track down the NFO, but it seems it hasn't been spread around the scene yet.
Hope this leads to something...

Why does everybody assume that random numbers combined with info you find on the inner ring of the disc is a valid header? It probably is based on the source, but it's not proof if there is no way to back it up.

The same reason people believe dumps of pokemon games two days before the street release date, etc.? It's not an uncommon scenario (remember that PS3 games were being dumped for years before the first public hack for preservation and just in case).

Now that it looks like there will be a way to play the dumps, some people seem to be gearing up for it.

I dont get it I remember I think it was diamond and pearl came out days before release date. (and didnt heart gold and soul silver aswell?)

Yeah I remember HG/SS. My SoulSilver cart was in the mail from Amazon at the time and was set to arrive on the release date so I didn't care.

In these cases the ability to verify them is coming. For example PS3 dev units, the DS games being released officially so people can dump and verify for themselves, etc.

This is relatively-common, and I don't think anybody has a reason to lie. Sure you could say the wiikey team might to make sales, but they're an established hardware manufacturer and seller, you might as well accuse MadKatz of lying about a product.

But you can't now, so it means nothing. And that's my point.

I don't think that the Wiikey team would lie about this, but people keep posting letters and numbers (I could have made a very convincing looking header myself just by looking at a game) as if it is proof.
