Hy you guys, i have a psp 2000 bricked, simply when turning on, lights the green led but it does not shutdown automatically, try to use Despertar del Cementerio 8 with a Pandora battery but it does not start the service mode, try with the magic memory stick and the Pandora in a workinh PSP fat and it does start the service mode, so i did the correct process with the MMS and the battery, try also with the Universal Unbricker but nothing happends, try also holding the home button before start it but nothing happends, the PSP shut donws after a cople of seconds, any idea what could it be??

Could be a fuse???

:hateit: :hateit::hateit:
Any help i really will apreciate it.

Thanks

Yep, i tryed starting it with the L trigger hold and everything, in fact, i know that made the mms and pandora battery right due to test it in another psp and was abble to start the DC, so was wondering that could be another thing like a fuse, but before disambling it need to double check all the other options.
Or there is another way to unbrick a PSP without using Despertar del Cementerio?

Thanks

Well, to be honest, it is my nephew psp, he just come and tell .... "it does not work anymore", when reviewing the psp, found in the ms, that were using the 6.39 PRO B, also the iso images on the ms, was altered, the image and the videos do not match with the original iso, thats why im suspecting that could cause the brick, the psp turns on the green led but do not show any image or make any sound, im ot familiar with the 6.39 PRO B, always used M33 or Chick hen, so could it be another way??

Colud be that drop it 6 years old will tell you, "i did not do anything"..., im talking about is that the iso game was altered, like when include the cheats menu on the game itself, som other isos games even show any picture or video of the game, thats why are my first suspects that could cause the brick.

honestly doubt thats the case, in my many years of PSP usage (since they was out in Japan) I have yet to see an ISO file brick a PSP :P

I suspect he dropped it and broke possibly the motherboard but even if it is a brick if that 2k is not responding to a Pandora battery your kinda screwed anyways since only Sony can flash it now

The battery might be one of those that is 1000 only, the mAh is different for the phats and slims.

The mAH of the battery would not cause a brick effect otherwise sony would have never sold the expanded battery kit for PSP Slims which included a large 2200mAH battery that could fit in 1000's or 2000 / 3000 and a replacement battery door

I could be wrong, but I recall years ago when I first did a cfw flash on my 2000, that I couldn't get the dang thing to get to the recovery menu. I found out that I had to plug in a charge the pandora battery for a good hour or 2 and then for some reason it worked.
Not sure if there is some trigger when battery % gets high enough, but just saying it's something to consider.

Hope you get it unbricked!
