I've seen a few attempts at DS emulation on android, mind you they don't work very well due to lag, however I was surprised to see it worked at all. I'm kinda wondering about what kind of phone would be required to run DS emulation with little to no lag. Also how much a phone that could run it well would cost.

There's already a good emulator with fantastic performance by the name Dsoid (on Android, of course).
I encourage you to support it since it worked very well on my old Motorola Xoom (Dual Layered Tegra2 processor).

NOTE: If I'm crossing some forum rules by recommending such software to others, please let me know!

Yeah it's good, but I'm still experiencing slight lag on my gnex.
But seeing how every update makes this emulator better and better I bet there wont be any lag at all.

So you're saying the emulator is at fault? How has no one made a working one?

The PC one's aren't even perfect yet, emulation is long and complicated work, people work for free, and the DS is a relatively new console.

Why don't you make a better emulator?

Because I don't understand it. I just find it odd people come so far as to make them but not working ones. However Super.Nova says DSoid works well.

I've personally tried 999, Phoenix Write and Ghost Trick and they were working well (even with cutscenes).
I bet running them on a high-end phone or tablet would yield better results.

I actually have a Galaxy Note II but too lazy to try ^_^
