This might just be a question for all you Canadian tempers out there, but if there are countries that have different regions that get taxed at different rates I'd love to hear your input.
I live in Ontario, Canada. Our Provincial and Federal tax rates total to 13%. Alberta has no Provincial tax rate and a Federal one of 5%.
I'm wondering if any non-Albertan has, say, bought an eShop gift card, changed their region to Alberta, and successfully avoided paying provincial taxes on their games?
The Northwest, Yukon, and Nunavut territories also only have a 5% tax rate, but no one would believe that I'm from there.
