Gaming Where's the hype for Luigi's Mansion 2?

Can you join people in your friends list? You couldn't in MTO apparently, if you can in LM2 then we should have nothing to worry about if you think about it.
And is it only Mario Tennis on 3DS and MH3 on WiiU that are online region blocked? Seems like it from what I've gathered, strange. Well at least AC and Pokémon won't be locked which is what I care about the most.

Also, am I the only one here that thinks Luigi is a better character than Mario?
He can do everything Mario can do and sometimes does it better.
He is just more interesting.

Maybe bonus levels for multiplayer or something like a score attack mode, but yeah I don't think they've announced anything DLC related for this game.

I swear they said the game would get dlc at last year's e3.

I'm still betting we'll get the original mansion in the new one. Either has one of the bonus mansions they talked about at e3 after beating the main story or as a dlc.

I only played about half way through the first game, as I've never owned it and only borrowed it from a friend. I really liked it though, and want to play through it before grabbing the second one. The retro game shop i work at has it in stock for $29.99, so I might grab it there.

There won't be, the game doesn't have an online connectivity as far as I can tell. I think the multiplayer is just local. There are a couple of bones I'd like to pick with the game though, I don't know if it supports the Circle Pad Pro, but it should as aiming the Poltergust 5000 is a pain in the ass with the control scheme Nintendo created by default, movement on multiple axis sucks. Also, the fact that it's not free roaming is kind of weird, the game focuses around missions and each mission you complete allows you to go further into a mansion. I am only on the 3rd mission though but I assume there are multiple mansions that you have to visit in the game.

Multiplayer IS online, and it's not like they can't add DLC to games without online support. About the aiming, everyone says that they're surprised at how well it works so I'm not worried about it.

Well, there is no component in the game that allows you to access the eShop or a function like the DLC access you get in Fire Emblem. They'd have to actually patch the game in order to add DLC functionality.
