Hacking DSi LL question

Hello all,

I currently have a Acekard 2i and because I upgraded my 3DS XL, it does not work anymore (o well)

Anyway, I am moving to Japan this Wednesday and just wondering if I use the current upgrade software for the DSi XL patch, will this ALSO work on a Japanese DSi LL? Or does this patch only work with American DSi XL's?

The DS, DS Lite and all DS games are region-free.

The DSi and DSi games (and 3DS and 3DS games) are not, but since DS games are region-free you can still play a JP DS game in a, EU 3DS or something.

Flash carts run in DS-mode, so they're region-free too.
