Sorry guys I couldn't test or update the new stuff yet but it seems someone made a strike against my mediafire account and all my files are down. I never thought that some custom dm-booter channels can cause a national security threat. Anyways no news in the near future.
No NEWS!!?? Come on man, the world needs the "WiiFlow Masterpiece Ed." Don't give up!

It would work that way with Tantric's Emulators but RetroArch has no cheat support atm. However cheat support is definitely planned to be supported so it's just a matter of time. If you'd like to play with cheats in the meantime use the GenPlus GX, SNES9X GX, VBA GX, FCEU GX plugins ;)

Edit: I miss the multi-quote option :P no way to multi-quote to posts on different pages from what I can see w/o copy/pasting :(
Hey guys, thanks for the responses. I dont use retroarch plugins, just the GenPlus GX, SNES9X GX, VBA GX, FCEU GX plugins.
Everytime I put the cheats in the folder it says that none could be found. Is there a special format or specfic naming way? The cheats are in .cht format..
Sorry to ask all this but I just want to get those running after having to get Mew on Blue the hard way this weekend

Did they give any reason WHY?
I thought after taking precompiled neek2o and cIOS WAD's out of your masterpiece and deleting the old versions it'd be all legal now.
Maybe not providing links to source code for open sourced stuff?
Any idea when or hope on getting it back up or does it look like it's permanent?

Hmm.. sorry not much of a cheat person, beyond that I haven't tried it myself. I saw that there was a cheat folder inside of SNES9x GX and figured they go in there. Maybe you have to set the config in the emulators options? I don't like to open up cans of worms myself cuz then I go digging through lots of worm shit till I get it working, but maybe I'll take this up over the weekend, if I have time I'll see if I can get cheats going.

Yeah, Im not really a cheat person myself, I just like the whole unlock everything stuff (levels, characters, bonus stuff ect.) the only time I play with like infinite health is when my 8yo daughter plays so she dont get discouraged while playing and can actually enjoy some retro games without starting over and over again lol. but if I can get game genie, that would be hella awesome!

taken from wiibrew for snes9xgx:
Cheats

By default, cheats are loaded from "/snes9xgx/cheats/". Cheat files must be placed in the cheats folder and named identically to the ROM name, except with a CHT extension. After putting the cheat file in the proper place and naming it correctly, you can access cheats in-game by pressing 'Home' after loading a game. A Cheats menu option should be available.

Anyways no news in the near future.

Maybe this was fortunate timing after all... Last Thursday I got notice of the upcoming (May 8th) renewal of the Wiiflow.info domain I purchased last year when were having trouble with Miigotu and his refusal to release the http://www.wiiflowiki.com/ URL. I had tried setting up a Wiki but the hosting company I selected was lame and the wiki software they used blew up like 3 times and I finally gave up, got busy with some things at work for forgot about it.

I have some more time available now and if there is interest I can re-setup the Wiiflow.info domain, get MediaWiki which looks like a decent Wiki package. Then we could host some of these files and not have to worry about mediafire takedowns. But is there a risk of the domain getting taken down if someone complains? I am happy to help out and will cover the domain/hosting costs but don't want to get in trouble.

If anyone wants to discuss this offline please PM me. Thanks.

Edit: I mean no disrespect to the WiiFlowWiki4 site and was thinking this could help on the file hosting problems.

Have you downloaded any of the language files and put them in your wiiflow/laguage folder
otherwise there is no language to change to
the languages folder is located in the folder wiiflow
only occurs with all hard drives in NTFS with all the applications and games inside

Yhellow Ebribody! :)
I kinda wanted to thank for such a good backup manager, good design, simple and efective :), but still kinda buggy, anyway, since i cant connect my to the internet, is there anyway to change the names of the game titles without having to change it on the backup images?
PS: i have already tried to make a custom_title.ini file but with no success, the wiiflow slowsdown on any menu and then crash without a log...

4.1.0 its a normal release... and it fixes a lot of bugs since 4.0.0
So what do u call a normal release then? :O
Haha, if we are going that way, some mod releases were as stable as hell.

Anyway read "normal"as an official wiiflow release, and the mod releases as try outs...

EDIT: otetas69, i noticed you calling Wiiflow a backup manager, but that is wrong, Wiiflow is a USB loader.

Well, at least thank you for noticing, maybe some other people can test if they experience the same behaviour with custom titles so it can be fixed..

Because that is the way to go if you want to change the default titles.
