Another Nickelback song that has had a massive impact on my life. It's food for thought. What would you do if today was your last day? What if tomorrow were too late? How could you impact someone else's life at the expense of your own. Would you spend it selfishly? Would your last moments be filled with self gratification? Or will you rise above the human condition and save a life, or perhaps push someone to an unreachable potential and beyond their means? It's a question of unquestionable importance. Our time on this Earth is so short. Regardless of belief, there is pain and suffering everywhere. If you knew you were going to die in the next 24 hours, could you willing turn your back on the needy, the poor, or the people who just aren't as gifted or blessed as you were?
Personally I could not. So why not live every day like it could be your last? Why not every day take a step back from the hustle and bustle of life and give a little like you'll never have another chance. You don't have to do anything drastic, just give. That piece of furniture you don't want? Take that to Goodwill or another donation place. Food still good after a spring cleaning? Take it to a food bank where it will be put to good use. Would you apologize for an old wrong? Forgive someone who needs it?
So I ask you GBAtemp, how would you live your last day?
