Hacking Is there alternative software for the R4i N3DS cart

I there guys, i used the site very successfully a couple of years ago when my youngest daughter got a DSI for Christmas and I got her a cart to go along with it. I haven't been around for a couple of years due to a serious illness, but I am back again and my daughter has now got a shiny new 3DS XL and another cart to go with it. I have looked through quite a few posts and threads but I can't seem to find any information to assist me. Is there any alternative/better software available for a R4i N3DS v 4.5 enabled? If it helps, this is the site I purchased my cart, which I think is a genuine cart (I'm not sure how to tell lol) r4icarduk............thank-you guys in advance or any help or advice offered.

V1.64b eng　with the 3Ds mark, that's the only firmware. I am using.

which version do you have on the 3ds and flashcard ?

@ taken & silver123....thanks for replying guys. I am using an R4i 3DS cart and the software is v1.64b, the same as silver123, and the 3DS itself is running the latest 4.5.0-10e. I am curious as to wether there is an alternative. I know on my daughters old cart I used a software called ysmenu (I think that's correct) and that ran more efficiently on her old cart than the old carts original software, and I am wondering if there is an alternative for her new cart......thanks

You could look at RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update v6.96
use the R4i-SDHC TTMENU. One as Dual Boot. When you start you R4i in Find ttmenu then press a and your in retrogamefan firmware.

which version do you have on the 3ds and flashcard ?

The 3ds one with 4.5 enabled.

Thanks again guys for replying.........@ silver123.......that is the software I am using at this moment. It runs ok-ish but it seems a little outdated compared to software for some of the other carts, plus the top screen of the 3DS XL doesn't play in full screen, it just displays the same size as the standard nds/3ds. @ taken.......hi bud, this sounds interesting RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update v6.96 Are you using it for dual booting? Does it run OK on the cart?...........sorry for all the questions.

Yes it runs Ok, I do dual boot it. I use R4i-SDHC TTMenu one in that folder. Just run the ttmenu.nds.
