Do these need to be changed from mp3 to wav in order to work? Im just looking to play my backup of Snatcher off my CRT. Thanks in advance
any decent converter will convert your MP3 to WAV within a few seconds
just make sure you pick 44.1kHz 16-bit stereo as the default output and that files stay properly named
does anyone have pier solar enhanced cd working? Is it possible to get the music in this game with the latest genplus gx?
If you're just trying to play it in an emulator than the MP3s are fine. Sega CD games that come with .wav audio are better in audio quality than .mp3s. Better still are .bin + .cue which are a bit-for-bit perfect audio CD quality copy.
No not at all. Sega CD games use CD format/quality audio. Put a Sega CD game in a CD player and it will play the music. Put the game in your computer and look at the files in a hex or audio editor. The wavs are lossless in quality but when you burn them to a new CD they will not be bit-for-bit identical to an original disc.mp3 are not supported on this emulator and iso +wav files are exact same quality as bin+cue regarding audio, audio data within the .bin file is basically .wav files without a WAVE header
