Uhm, I give you guys the time to change the settings with this version now so its better than the old one, the image still gets loaded fine here and I can play the game after adjusting what needed.

Thanks FIX94! The wiisx mod works perfect with wiiflow and booting to the menu is the right idea. WiiFlow is becoming the ULTIMATE emulator launcher -- I love it!

Geat job on the WiiSX plugin Fix94.
With the new plugin mod I'm able to play games like Brave Fencer Musashi, BoFIII, FFIV, GT, MM8, without flaw just to name a few.
How about individual game settings so we can enable auto boot on certain games perhaps on a future release update??

Tried Sheep Raider with latest wiisx mod1, loads fine with weird colored pixels on right side the codedumps after infograms logo
Help needed :)

Edit: tried both ISO and Bin/cue formats same result

Thanks you, after some research I found that bios files are needed.
I googled SCPH1001.bin and SCPH1002.bin and placed them in \wiisx\bios folder and "Voila!" booting game through bios worked like a charm.
Seems HLE mode is still buggy

It's sad in a way that I have a new Wii U with Nintendo Land and Mario U to play, but I'm more excited over the WiiSX plug in and testing out my favorite games from the past. So far my findings:
FF8 - Works with minor stuttering during fmv scenes.
FF9 - Code Dumps after hitting new game.
FF Tactics - Works perfectly so far
Mega Man 8 - Works perfectly so far

What settings are you using for Tactics to work? I tried a few, but it either crashed or black screened on me.

I didn't change any settings. I also had bios turned off. I only watched the pregame fmv and started the story, so I didn't get into any battles yet. My rom was also in bin.ecm format, so I had to download an unecm program to convert it back to a .bin file before it booted properly.

Should my WiiFlow take 2-3 minutes to boot up? I'm running 4.0.4 and when I was on my previous version (version 3 or something, I believe) it boot up instantaneously. Any suggestions?
Did you delete the wiiflow.ini, the cache lists folder, and settings folder?

Hum... Do you have several partitions on your HD?
Do you have same issue with 4.0.1 or 4.0.2?

to leftwingzero: no but my wiiflow.ini is now nonexistent, I can't seem to find it anymore, and no to both of the others too, the only thing that changed was I changed my wiiflow files in my apps folder

to otototot: there isn't any partitions I know of other than what it's on now. The hard drive isn't used specifically for the Wii, it's used as a general storage device as well but as mentioned it has worked 100% full speed before going to the 4 versions. I have not tried 4.0.1 nor 4.0.2, only 4.0.3 and 4.0.4...I will try previous versions and see if there is a difference

When you open wiiflow it creates the .ini file inside of the wiiflow app folder. Whenever you update to a newer version of wiiflow, it's always a good idea to delete the lists folder inside of the cache folder as well as the gameconfig1 and gameconfig2 files inside of the settings folder. This helps Wiiflow create a new version for you when you open it.

bin.ecm.. yeah I seen those. But I just renamed them to .bin... I'm going to try this converter thing and see if that's the case to why some of my games have been crashing after sony screen.

The ecm condenses the bin file, so taking off the ecm alone won't change it back to the actual bin file, I tried it as well. Try this:

Hey everyone so i been setting up psx games and testing them most are running flawless for me but i cant seem to figure out what im doing wrong with some games :( i try to transfer them from .img to .cue/.bin using magiciso and i get this at boot up if i leave the game (armored core) in img format it boots fine is magiciso breaking the .bin or is there some games that can only boot in img format??
wiisx fail boot.jpg

only thing that I can confirm is "unecm" is needed for .bin.ecm files to get the bin file back (usually size is 5-10% bigger)
as for the screenie Dump: it's the bios file loading. when bin.ecm is JUST renamed to .bin you get stuck at wait screen or at black screen before game exits back to WF.
rename bin to bin.ecm and try unecm and see if file gets bigger.
