Hardware Mini Wii, December 7th

Being dubbed the "Mini Wii" by Nintendo World Report, the site claims to have received access to an internal release schedule from a major retailer stating that Wii Mini is set to launch on Friday December 7, 2012.

Apparently the compact console will come with a Wii sensor bar, Nunchuk and Wii Remote Plus.

im not sure why they left out wifi but maybe the reason is there still gonna also sell the regular wii, maybe this is just a cheaper version.
but it still has usb ports right? possibly still can get online trough wii lan adapter.

I've been reading that it's exclusive to Canada for now. But, I have a Wii already, not to mention my Wii will have INTERNET ACCESS, unlike this miniature version.

well there's a minor convinced.
seems it will just be a cheaper dummed down version for kids or old people. or people that just like the new design & dont care about online & storage, tho now it seems incompatible with less accessories like wii headbanger wii speak guitar hero mic .

Oh my god, how stupid is this. Nintendo are so unpredictable.
We've gotten 2 unnecessary Wii revisions since the Wii U was announced. I guess it wouldn't be stupid to assume we'll get another next year with even less features.

I wonder if it'd be cheaper to buy this thing instead of buying the Motion Plus Wiimote, Nunchuck & Senor bar separately for the Wii U.
