Wii U vs 3DS

Hey, I'm in a traumatizing situation over here.
I really want a 3DS so bad, I couldn't open it, the day of the release till now (for personal reasons which sounds stupid, but if you knew the situation, you'll understand but i cant tell you). The 3DS was crushed when I saw it, and I didn't get warranty on it. My mom felt bad, so she said she will buy me a 3DS or the Wii U. I felt so bad that she felt so bad, and I refused, but she forced me or else I'm grounded.. I want a 3DS so bad because of the games and stuff.. But looking at the Wii U, its a brand new system, and etc..

Basically can you guys encourage me for what system? I want to hear more pros of the 3DS and Cons of the Wii U.

After getting advice from people on Mibbit, i've realized the 3ds looks so much better then the wii u.
So i finalized it with the 3ds.
Off to the super store!

Even though I already decided, I'd still like to hear your reasons. I'm almost leaving to the store, my sister might get a discount. So please list why the 3DS is better, even though I think it is.
But please tell me, so I finalize it to my family for sure, cause I get 2 options and 2 finalization. 1 for deciding what I want, and one for before purchasing it.

First of all, there is already TONS of accessories for the 3DS. BTW if you do finalize on the 3DS make sure you get the Nyko Power Grip. It triples the battery life.
Also, you get freggin 3D! Does the Wii U do that? No, didn't think so. It's portable. Theres a lot of great 3DS titles including New Super Mario Bros. 2, Mariokart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, and so many more! You have AR cards too! You can play DS Download Play with other 3DS's and DS's.

Well The 3ds XL would be my choice if i went 3ds But i would go with the WII U , though its prolly sold out everywhere now so not gettable easily, The wii U is like having a DS only in your home where one screen is like 40 + inches and the secondary screen is 6! Also has Trip A + titles like assasins creed 3 , Cod Blops, NSMBU and Sonic Allstar racing not to mention some pretty Amazing Indie games on the eshop for launch Such as Trine 2 By Frozen byte, Very Open policys for releasing games which should make it a Indie game developer friendly Eshop and could cause it to flourish Like Steam, And Knowing nintendo There will be a new 3ds Redesign Again In May. At least you know the Wii U has some longevity before u feel cheated no redesign for at least 2-3 years would be my guess..

Thanks! Although on Black Friday, Bestbuy is having a super sale, and the prices might drop, and also with my sister's employee discount the price range might fall to $90 dollars - $110!! Woot, I can wait! Also, this is gonna be my own busy weak, working on a project, so i'm good with it.

Your answer is pretty great too, but my brother usually gets new titles pretty quick, his friend buys him a second copy.. for the PS3.. As for NSMBU, i can wait a long time, i'm gonna wait for about 4 years.. I need to build my resume up and i might as well get it my self... But its possible that a way better console may come, but probably working with my brother in law ( you can get a job easily there) i'll be able to get things for my self at that time, ill be around 17, and.. ill be able to get these type of things for myself.. And do a lot for my mother, since she is a really great mother

Yeah I'm hoping that on Christmas (if I decide to get a new one thoguh probably not) and that after Black Friday all the prices will drop. I heard that they removed the dock from the newer models. I confirmed this when I went to my local Walmart and the Cosmo Black and Midnight Purple models were in smaller boxes though oddly the Flame Red ones were not.

In the end it comes down to 2 things for me, Do i spend alot of time out on the road where i would use the 3ds or will i Be at home mostly? and Of course the ever popular What do my friends have can I play Online with them? or anything like that? Both will end up with great game catalogs its more about which you will use then which is better. Plus not to suggest an evil thought wii U is more expensive let mom buy it p and then buy yourself a 3ds later u can get em used for like 100 bucks now.

You ultimately own a PS3 and PC so you probably don't want a Wii U for the ports. You also have a DS so you don't want a 3DsYou already know about the portable things etc so.

Has ten exclusive games released and are announced for later.

• Wii Fit U
• ZombiU

May have problems down the run with launch Wii Us but might not
Hard to find

3DS
Has a established library
Easy to find
