It works fine, though it does notably take about 3 seconds more to load. However I don't really care as all the time it takes to load is still about half that GX took anyways..

A few more questions since I'm using WiiFlow after being a dedicated GX user:

I see a "music" folder in the wiiflow folder, what does this folder do? Is there a way to play music while using WiiFlow?

I've seen lots of custom themes that change the coverflow and its layout, though the current "themes" topic is in broken HTML. Is there any other place I can see them?

Some games, like Wii Sports, is named differently internally, is there a way to change the title of a game, or do I need to edit the title in the actual game itself?

Yep - just copy in some ogg or mp3.

Download the gametdb (in the download option) and all the games names will be updated to something more sensible. You can change them with another ini file, but try that first.

The reason I wanted to change it is because I use the "games" directory for all my games (games for vbagx, etc), so I have /games/gmc and /games/gba and /games/snes, etc. I'm just a neat freak. GX supports defining the URL for both so I thought it was a fairly easy tweak that I just overlooked.
Thanks for letting me know everything works fine, I rewrote the list code not too long ago and now I should be able to easly change the directory where to look for gamecube games ;)
@MassiveRican:
Could you PM me a cached banner together with a fanart which looks broken if both are used at the same time?

Sure but it'll b after 6PM ET, I think you're like 9 hours ahead of me lol but not totally sure. I have fanart shut off for the time being so I'll look into it tonight and send u something.

Just thought I'd point out: the revision that was recompilled to use cIOS222 loads in 2 seconds while the one with the "force ios" takes 8 seconds.

It's not a problem to me as GX takes longer than 8 seconds so I'm saving time anyways, just thought it was fair to point it out.

Yea thats correct, its because the modified version I compiled only loads into IOS222 without doing any other checks. The new rev of course first uses IOS58 to init SD and USB (because IOS58 is already loaded), then checks your wiiflow.ini and if it finds this setting it reloads the IOS and remounts SD and USB, thats why it takes a bit longer.

Hi,

Been away for a while, thought I would update Wiiflow but getting the following

c:/svn/wii/open-wiiflow-mod/source/loader/cios.c:42: multiple definition of `mainIOS'

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Can someone please verify that I'm the only one with this problem.. I boot up a Wii game and then try to exit but it just blacks screens for about 2 minutes then the Wiiflow loading screen pops up just to freeze shortly afterwards. Exiting plugins are working fine. Most importantly, does anybody have a solution for this? I tried to downgrade Wiiflow but that's not what I wanna do really. Thx.

Which rev mate?

Hey MassiveRican, thanks for your response. 4.0.3 r433. is what I have now. I tried the new 4.0.4 beta FIX posted awhile ago, but I'm having problems with missing buttons and it not wanting to let me select which channel I want to exit to when I leave WF. Also the background is acting funny.. like everytime I do some action, it shrinks down then back to normal. If you may know a solution to any of this, please let me know. Again thanks.

So since I'm using IOS222 now, whenever I try to load Monster Hunter Tri, it freezes on the file screen. This doesn't happen with IOS249, so I thought to just swap the IOS the game loads and it'll be fixed.

Well, it was fixed... except that if I make WiiFlow load IOS249 for MH3, it doesn't detect the HDD and just goes back to HBC requiring me to unplug/replug it.

I used to be a big MH addict, but nowadays I just play casually so having one game do this isn't that big of a deal, I'm just curious if there is a simpler workaround that will detect the HDD and load it right.

That's easy to fix, just start the rodries mod installer again and install IOS223 base IOS37 and then set the game to IOS223 ;)
Oh and to the post there before, thats the latest beta rev:

To the activity led, if I have the time I'll add some options to that finally :P

Well, that worked like a charm! Does that mean I should be using IOS223 instead of IOS222 as my default? I resorted to using your older pre-compiled version of WiiFlow that loads IOS222 as it loaded much faster.
