Just wait until a patch for the DStwo is out before updating your 3DS.Ok, changed
But I could only rely on the emergency method because I will only own a 3DS XL and not planning to buy other handheld console.

You can update using the normal method on any DS, DSi, or 3DS model as long as you DO NOT UPDATE THE 3DS BEFORE YOU UPDATE THE DSTWO.Ok, changed

Nothing plays 3DS ROMs.and one last question, if I use DSTwo, will I be able to play original 3DS game in 3DS XL? thx
Sorry, i mean that if I play NDS game with DSTwo or R4i gold + with 3DS XL, will i able to play original 3DS game?Nothing plays 3DS ROMs.
If you're asking about still playing normal 3DS carts, yes.
Like I said, flash carts do not modify the 3DS.

yes, as rydian said
the DSTwo doesnt affect the console
the DSTwo merely lies to it saying its a certain game and when the 3DS checks it the DSTwo gives it what it wants and then does its thing
Ok thx a lot, and is the update of R4i gold + same with the DSTwo?Yes, flash carts don't modify the systems.

i see, then do R4i Gold have any option to update on a 3DS or 3DS XL?The normal update? Not the exact same method. With the DSTwo you put the file up and it detects it automatically, with the R4i Gold (and other flash carts) you need to go run the update file as if it was a DS game.
Other than that it's the same concept.
Just like every other DSi/3DS flash cart, if you can run it you can update it.i see, then do R4i Gold have any option to update on a 3DS or 3DS XL?
Then if i am using R4i gold + flashcart on 3DS XL, can i play all NDS game without further update the flashcart?Just like every other DSi/3DS flash cart, if you can run it you can update it.
Then if i am using R4i gold + flashcart on 3DS XL, can i play all NDS game without further update the flashcart?
Games come out with new anti-piracy code all the time, which is why carts need updates. Then if i am using R4i gold + flashcart on 3DS XL, can i play all NDS game without further update the flashcart?
you will always have to update every flashcard that is used in a 3DS/XL
Correct me if I am wrong, but i thought that the NDS game is no longer released? that is why I ask that after the flashcart is current newest version, can I stop update it. Current version is 4.41 or something right?Games come out with new anti-piracy code all the time, which is why carts need updates.
The DSTwo's "clean mode" is great, but it doesn't always work and limits the ability to use cheats and stuff, which is why even the DSTwo gets updated.

DS games are still being released. Hell, Pokemon Black/White 2 just came out a month ago.Correct me if I am wrong, but i thought that the NDS game is no longer released? that is why I ask that after the flashcart is current newest version, can I stop update it.
